CONNECTION FAILED ERROR WHILE TRYING TO SIGN IN TO APP STORE ON INTERNET RECOVERY MODE ON MY MACBOOK

Hello,

I formatted a MacBook for my friend using internet recovery mode and after the clearing of the disk, I went back to the utility windows, choose reinstall, choose my disk and it's asking me to sign in to App store which I tried logging in to but kept giving 'connection failed' error.

I have tried the apple id on other devices and it's working perfectly.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
