It sounds like a great suggestion for someone who is having that problem. However, as I noted above, I do not.

okay, literally right after I posted this it worked. SMH 🤦🏽‍♂️ so yeah, I tried all this **** so I don’t know what actually worked. BUT the last thing I did was hold down the app icon until the option popped up. Clicked sign in and I did. Then I was in but nothing was loading. So I deleted and redownloaded AGAIN Theeeeen it worked. Soooo yeah, do with that what you will. Hope it helps.

I've been having this issue but only with my chats. I get the notification and i launch the app and my history is not showing and the chats just spin (if i look on the web or even mobile browser they are there and work fine)

I finally found a solution to this ongoing issue. I deleted the Instagram app then installed the newest iOs update and it worked. Not sure if this helped the situation or not - but I also logged in to my Insta account via the computer first and set the security to 2 step verification. So after the update, the Instagram app went through verification and now I'm logged in finally.

The issue is with Instagram. The app has had problems for weeks. Apple can't do anything about it. Contact Instagram/Meta support.

My instagram won’t let me login to any accounts at all, I’ve reset I’m phone, & deleted then downloaded instagram back & i don’t know if there’s a fix. Everytime I try to login it says “there was a problem with your request” but I can login to the same accounts on other devices and web, What do I do?

I’m having a lot of the same issues. I can login, but nothing will load. Yet I can login from a computer and see everything. I’ve deleted and added the app back with no luck. My phone is up to date as well so not sure if it’s IG or Apple’s issue anymore.

I figured it out. Tried everything and only this worked 100%- thank me later@!

1) type your account name into IG app

2) click forgot password

3) type your name and click forgot password again

4) it should send u a verification code to your email and then the rest YALL should know what to do

Two weeks ago I got booted off my Instagram app. I was able to go in with my second profile but haven’t been able to log in with my main profile. I e had to use the Instagram website via my phone but have yet to be able to use the app. I have tried deleting it and reloading it. I’ve tried logging out and changing my passwords. I can still only get into the second profile I rarely use and am unable to log into my main one. I have no idea why?? Any reasons?

Have you tried deleting and re-installing the app? If that doesn't help, it's probably a Facebook/Meta problem. Most of their apps have been problematic of late.

You will need to contact Instagram/Meta support for this issue.

I have the iPhone 15 pro max and after i updated my phone i have not been able to login to instagram i try to put my email in and once i get to the number part it glitches or won’t let me even click on the number to input it in … everyone been saying delete it and reinstall it didn’t work Tried on website works fine

i think i found a somewhat solution, i had to install facebook and link my instagram accounts to my facebook account, i then went to my instagram app and typed “login with facebook”, it somewhat worked because it did log me in to my main account but it won’t let me log in to the rest of my accounts and i’m still trying to figure out how to do that
