won’t let me log back in

i disconnected my apple watch i have had it for a year and now i am trying to reconnect it but it wants my old apple id and i don’t know the apple id the old one and it won’t let me use it any other way

Then you may need to call Apple Support and get help recovering the old Apple ID. Otherwise, you won't be able to use the watch. It is under Activation Lock to the Apple ID that originally set it up.
