IOS 17.1.1 - no longer able to edit text messages

I agree. Let’s hope for another update soon…that doesn’t break something else, ha ha!

That worked perfectly! The keyboard blanks out to a gray color. And you’re able to correct text better than you ever could!! Thank you!!!!!!

And why can't I add a new texter into my contacts? Used to be able to go to info and add the phone number into contacts but there is no option now. Anyone know how to do this?

Even after positioning the cursor with this method, it snaps back to a location much later in the message and scrolls down - hiding the area I want to edit. It’s broken.

I have NEW PROMAX15. Why can’t I edit text messages on fb posts , ? I went to edit made the correction and submitted it but it keeps replying w the message I’m trying to correct ?? WTH. ??

I agree this is awful. Apple, fix it and fix it fast. I do wish someone would more carefully check out these updates before they send them out!
