My husband's call log on my iPhone

My husband and I have shared an apple ID for years with no problems. Suddenly, today, my call history is on his phone and his on mine. How do we fix this? Why has it been ok for more than a decade and suddenly changed?

that and problems with imessages and facetime are among the reasons it's such a bad idea to share an appleID as in all things apple you are the same person

Don't Share an Apple ID:

First off, you each should have your own Apple IDs. You should never share your Apple ID with any one. You can share your purchases and contacts and other items through use of Family Sharing. So, I recommend that you each have your own Apple IDs. IT would avoid mishaps like this.

Based on personal experience...

Recovering Call History:

A. Restore from Today's Backup:

Restore your iPhone from a backup of it that contains the Call History, and you could recover them.

B. Log into your Carrier's Site:

What happens when you log into your account on your Carrier's site? Doing so, myself, I can see my Call History unto 90 days back.
