After the installation of macOS Monterey on an old MBP 2015 - No bootable device or Internet Recovery Mode starts the installation process (macOS Sierra / High Sierra / Mojave)... only the macOS Utilities?!

Hello, I can't longer install an older clean macOS version(High Sierra - Mojave - Catalina) on my old MBP 2015 after the installation of macOS 12. The bootable USB/FW devices launch only the macOS Utilities but not the installation process. The installation doesn't work... crashing?!

It is possible to start the Internet Recovery Mode(CMD-R and SHIFT+CMD+OPT-R)... macOS Utilities but the macOS Sierra installation failed again "Recovery server is damaged".

The only working installation via bootable Device or Internet Recovery(OPT+CMD-R) is macOS Monterey. I also set the date of the MBP to 2017-01-01 and the macOS Installation file to 2017-01-02 via the terminal without success again.

Any ideas?

TIA

Simon

Update!

As already mentioned, archived macOS 10.13-10.15 installers do not work after installing macOS Monterey.

I have downloaded the macOS installers years ago via the web and not from the App Store.

These have worked without any problems so far. A few weeks ago I have installed macOS Catalina on the

MBP 2015.

Now I have found the solution. It looks like the new macOS installers from the

App Store have been revised and now work without any problems. I could already create a bootable Installer to install macOS Mojave... The following link will take you to the working macOS installer and redirect to the App Store.
