Cable that came with Phone and still works with other USB-C connections won't fully insert and seat in iphone 15 pro max although it worked fine yesterday. have used compressed air to blow out charging port, no visual blockage and case on phone is not impeding.

Get a magnifying glass w a light or similar I used one and saw a huge piece of lint I used a needle to scrap it out it now snaps In
Same issue with my cable also. Cable js not stable and came outside when i was charge the phone. I checked with ither cable and it was fine. This is common issue with cable i hope
I was having the same problem for months, ive now used a bench grinder to take a couple mm off of the end of the charger and hey presto its perfect
if the phone is under warranty day have to fix or replace phone it's the law
It’s not dirt in the port, it’s a design flaw. I, along with many others, have cleaned the port out numerous times to no avail, still to plug the charger in and have a loose, or no connection at all.
Same issue with an iPhone 15 Pro. The cable doesn’t snap in all the way. Tried multiple cables, and the same cables snap just fine on my iPad. Seems like the issue started overnight; one day it worked fine, the next day my phone isn’t charging at all because the cable is loose.
Had a similar issue, but when using iPhone 15 Pro with the car. The cabbie used to sit very firmly in the port, now the tiniest bump can disrupt the connection, which is extremely annoying.
Tested with a charger on a different cable and the phone was losing connection in a similar manner - bump it and it will disconnect for a moment, sometimes not reconnecting at all.
I have make sure the usb c is pushed in all the way, then after it sits for awhile I'll check back and it has ever so slightly loosened in the port so its no longer charging. Frustrating to wake up in the morning with an uncharged phone. I think I'll take it in to apple and see if they can fix it.
Just wasted an hour of my time for Apple to tell me that the cord that comes with the phone is not lose so there is nothing they will do. They don’t sell a cord for Apple play in my car so they reccomend Belkin. I have already bought Anker and used the cord that came with my car from Toyota for Apple Play and neither work without coming loose. I am now buying yet another cord just to prove to them it’s their problem!!

still have this issue ? My 15 pro max does this a lot. Plug it in feels very loose and sometimes stop charging then charges again then I try to keep wobbling it and seems to go back to normal. Should I get it checked out or leave it.
Same problem with my iphone 15 Pro today, Last night my phone charged alright but today when I put my cable in my phone fro charging I feel its loose and when I start charging my device it disconnected many times I hold that wire for charging.
THANK YOU! This worked for me after this issue driving me insane for a few weeks. I mostly charge wirelessly in the car & at night but if I'm on the couch watching TV I need to plug in. This solved the problem - I appreciate it.
Same issue with IPhone 15 Pro. With the slightest poke on the cable, it becomes loose and stops charging. Very annoying!
