I recently upgraded my iPhone 11 Promax to iPhone 15 and I'm having serious difficulty pairing my Sony WH-1000XM3 headset with the new phone, all efforts have proven abortive even updating the Sony pairing app still didn't make any difference. So I'm asking, if it's possible to trade in my Sony WH-1000XM3 to get an Apple headset instead as it seems the new OS on the iPhone 15 doesn't give room to other android enabled or compatible devices.

no, it's only android phones apart from apples things which they support trade in for
and it's not even all apple product they allow trade in for

the new os still support the same bluetooth profiles which would include ad2p too so it should work

if it was me then I would try maybe not use the sony app but just pair it as any other bluetooth headsets

Try Forgetting the Bluetooth device and pairing it again. It appears to work on my XM3.
