Back in May 2022 I bought a used Apple MacBook Air 13 Retina 2018 and now I’m selling it, so I reseted it but there’s activation lock and me and my family don’t have a such an email that showed on screen, and I don’t know a password for it. What should I do?

You don't need to know their password – only to have them enter it, clear the lock, and then prepare the computer properly for transfer – the way they should have, before selling it to you.

It sounds like that the MacBook is activation locked to the person you've bought it from, they did not erase the macbook properly before they sold it. So they're the only one how can unlock the MacBook
So that means that I should ask them for their email and password then?
