Hi, I'm trying to download iTunes for my Mac? Can you please help?

I can't remember my passcode on my iPad and when I look up the instructions it says to connect to iTunes on my MAC. My MAC doesn't have iTunes and I can't figure out how to install iTunes on my MAC.
