Changes on timer after latest iOS update, can I revert them?
timer feature used to tell you at what time it would go off. Now it just tells you how long you set it for. Is there a way to fix this?

New timer is terrible! Countdown image is smaller. The larger one was way better. I don't need a panel that shows "Label - Timer. I know I am using the timer. I don't need to know my sound when the timer ends, nor do I need the screen mucked up with a bunch of "recents". Please give us the old timer!
I too hate the new timer. I want to see it reverted to what it was before the latest update??? I only need to set my timer, see what time it will end, set it and wait for it to go off. I don’t want to know whites I have set the timer for in the past!!!
This is not true. You must not have used Timer( the apple app )before now? It’s been showing the Daytime that it will end from at least 2011. Unclear why you even stated that?
To clarify, once the timer is set yes you can click on it and see when it will go off. When you are setting the timer there is no end time shown.
Agreed!!! Stop trying to fix what ain’t broke cause you just end up actually breaking it, APPLE!!!! I used to long press and do a 1 min timer for my workout resting periods but now it automatically wants to set for 2 min. Did you think I was brushing my teeth or something?! Thats why I have a SONICARE!!!
I applaud this comment. The old timer was perfect. Why change what was working so well? I also have “set” my preference to “stop playing” when timer goes off. It bounces back to “radial” every time. If I’m not paying attention I’m wakened after I have just fallen into a deep sleep. Angered by the faulty code.
Whoever wrote the new code does not use the timer. This is clear.
PLEASE put previous version back into the iPhone software!!!!!
Yes! Give me back the timer end time!
And get rid of that first screen that shows the time of the first time I set after the update. I don’t need to have to click out of it every time I want to set a timer!
The Timer is just a countdown. In general it does not show when it will end, but does show the amount of time left.
If you want a specific time for an alert to go off, use the Alarm option.
Is there a way to fix it so I can make sure I set my timer for the right time? Is there a setting that I accidentally changed??? HELP!!
No dkoop83 that does not work! It just stops the timer!!!
i
Apple please revert back to the original timer.
