Issue with Powerbeats pro update 2023 losing power while in case and staying connected to phone

I did not know about Nov 2023 update until today when I seaeched to check if anyone recently started having issues with their battery draining. I've experienced all of the above mentioned. The battery has only gotten worse through Dec, Jan and until now. Another issue I remember is a glitch were case and buds would all show as 100% then seconds later at 70-some % and seconds after that at 30-some % . I took them to Apple and they wanted me to choose between $250 repair or might-as-well purchase brand new ones. I went to buy new ones. But I feel duped. I'm upset and plan to pursue something with Apple, after reading this post.
