MACBOOK AIR appears with a black screen and a padlock that steps on a password that I never entered



My MACBOOK AIR from 2017 does not work, it is blocked with a black screen and a padlock, help, we never put a password in the bios, my daughter blocked it for her brother so that he would not use it in default mode but it does not allow me to remove that mode, it is my Apple ID what can I do

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

Lock icon

If your Mac is using a firmware password, the lock icon appears when you try to start up from another disk or volume, such as an external drive or macOS Recovery. Enter the firmware password to continue.


You'll need to follow the instructions at Set a firmware password on your Mac - Apple Support > If you forgot your firmware password
