No one will be able to help you unlock the computer and it will never be usable to you. Your only option is to take it back and get a refund.

Activation Lock is a theft deterrent that prevents anyone else from using the device after the original owner has set it up. If the original owner wanted to sell their device, they would need to do a Factory Reset and their Apple ID and Password is needed to accomplish that.

Nope, we are all end users like you, Apple is our host and they do not read or participate in these forums.

PLEASE return the computer to the Pawn shop. Even taking the computer to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider will not help you out. The computer was not setup per What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac and basically you bought a boat anchor.

Going forward never buy Macs from:

• Pawn shops
• Ebay
• Craigslist
• Marketplace
• local PC shop
• etc...

If you cannot afford to get a new Mac, please buy a used one from a reputable source such as macsales.com, who specialize in Mac and refurbish them correctly prior to re-sale.

Return it and get your money back. There’s no way to bypass the activation lock. It’s useless.
