Apple One Premier Plan | Subscription Price Increase?

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent subscription price increase for your services. I have been a loyal Apple One customer for over three years, and I was shocked to see that you have raised the monthly fee by about 25% without any explanation or changes.

I find this price hike unreasonable and unfair, especially since there have been no changes or improvements in the quality or features of your service. I have always enjoyed using the Apple One services, but I cannot justify paying such a high price for something that has not changed at all. Before the release of Apple One, if I remember correctly, the highest iCloud storage plan you could buy separately was not 2TB. Since the release of Apple One, if you subscribe to Apple One Premier you get 2TB iCloud storage AND you could share your services with up to 5 other family members, this sounded great, so I opted to get it. Recently three new storage plans have been released, now you can purchase a monthly 2TB, 6TB, and 12TB iCloud+ storage plan separately. There have been two price increases for the Apple One subscription and no changes have been made to any of the services included in the Apple One bundle. The first price increase was shortly after the pandemic, it was expected due to inflation, Apple was one of the companies that was late to release their price increase. This second price increase was after the release of the new storage plans but the max storage you get with Apple One Premier remains 2TB. With the price increases and new storage plan options, it would be reasonable for Premier Plan subscribers to at least get an additional 2TB, the total price increase is almost the cost of the new 2TB iCloud+ storage plan.

What is the reason for this price increase with no changes to the services provided? I request that you reconsider this decision, at least offer some compensation or benefits to your existing customers like a storage plan increase for Premier subscribers.

This is primarily a user to user forum. This isn't a conduit for feedback to Apple, nor should you expect any response from Apple here.


You can leave feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple, but I honestly wouldn't expect any response if you choose to utilize it - although you can at least say you tried if you do.


FWIW the email notification about this price increase didn't mention any reason for the increase, but I wouldn't expect it to either.
