Shared AirTag No Location Found

Wife and I have shared AirTags without any problem, and they are visible on all our devices, apart from one. She shared a new AirTag with me today, and although she sees the item and its location in Find My on her devices, on all of my devices the item is listed and shown as shared by her, but its location is not. It says No Location Found on all my devices. Location Services are enabled on all devices.

We have removed it from the shared list on my devices, and on hers, and have shared it again, but it still says No Location Found on my devices. How can I fix this?

If you are still not seeing the location, try restarting your phone. If that doesn’t work, if it’s possible, bring your AirTag close to your phone and leave it there for a while so the AirTag can update.

You want to be sure the AirTag firmware is 2.0.61. The way you can tell this is tap on the AirTag to show you the location, then once you do that. tap on the information below the name of the AirTag and it will show you the firmware and the serial number.

Out of my 4 shared AirTags, two of the tags are now showing shared location without i did anything to it. So, this issue is somehow related to some bug or apple doing something at find my or air tag software. FYI

Same here... My son's mom just shared an air tag with me from her home. I can't view location from my Mac (M1 MBP) or my iPhone. I can see that the device was shared with me, I can see / get notifications that others were added to the Share list for the air tag... But, I can't see its location on either of my devices. As of date of this post, all my devices are on latest OS patches/vers...

I have two tags, one owned by me and shared to my dad, and visa versa. We can see both and the location. Shared both with my Mom and Husband and husband can see all, but my Moms phone and iPad show location not found for one tag. The rest are all fine for everyone. Updated, uninstalled, etc. Maybe on the next update?

Same problem with iPhone 13 (owner) and iPhone 14 (shared with). "No location found" on the iPhone 14. We tried it the other way as well, same result. Both have own Airtags with no issue at all.

iOS 17.2 will release soon and lets see, if that fix the issue or else, in future updates. I wish apple proactively publish this, so that customers are aware than calling apple support.

Same issue here. Bought AirTags for wife and myself. Shared with each other and get no location found on both devices. Please fix!!!

FYI - From the 2 that my son shared with me, I can see 1 of them right now. The other one still has No location found.

Shared locations for all my AirTags is now working in find my. The issue is fixed automatically. FYI
