Hebrew text aligning from left to right on ios 17.1.2

An old issue just happen again

When I type in Hebrew on my iPhone the Hebrew is typed with left alignment instead of right.

This is new and I couldn't fix it.

I tried to remove the Hebrew language support and add it again... it didn't help.

The issue happens in all applications.

Major language is English but happen also with Hebrew as major language.

Phone is iphone XS ver 17.1.2

Any idea?

This issue is happening to everyone around me (I am also using IOS 17.1.1)

I did a test and added Arabic - same issue

Another test, my phone language is English, I changed to Hebrew then the Hebrew text align correctly RTL but the English now is wrong (Also RTL)

Seems like IOS can't determine the direction by the language

This is really annoying, I just moved from Android and this is a huge bummer, hope you someone have a solution for this, Thanks

We Need to change the direction we write!

all the languages in the world written from left to right, but only Hebrew and Arabic is from right to left…

it’s not like UK that driving on the wrong side of the road… this is affecting only them and the car manufacturers that for some reason keep giving them this option, if they will fight, UK, Thailand, Australia etc.. will have no choice and they will change the driving directions.

Leta hope for a better days 🙏🏼
