I updated to iOS 17.2 and have been experiencing WiFi connectivity problems and related speed problems. I can usually “fix” this by powering my phone off (iPhone 13 pro max). Sometimes I have to power off more than once. WiFi calling also seems to be having issues (randomly not working). Anyone else having either of these issues?

Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I've found that the iPhone/iPad in particular have a very sensitive-to-interference WiFI network adaptor. I've been struggling with this for a while, but have solved the problem for me, anyway. I have 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz being broadcast over the same SSID. It didn't matter which bands the iPhone grabbed, I was getting awful performance (single digit Mbps down and up). I know all 2.4 Ghz bands are saturated around me, but I was puzzled on the 5 Ghz. In any case, I changed the 5 GHz channel from the default of 32 (5180 MHz) to 149 (5745 MHz) and voila, the iPhone's WiFi is blazing fast.
This may also explain why others experience it and others don't. Different devices respond to RF / WiFI interfence (this increasingly becoming an issue) differently, it all depends on the network interface adaptor. Some are more resilient than others.

Upgraded to 17.2.1 and im running on 13 , still got the problem. I have to shut down again in order to use internet.

Same issue!!!! Soo frustrating running 14 pro. I say this is the worst update yet. Every thing else is running fine and at speeds of 300+ Mbps on a Linksys mesh network.
Nothing more to add beyond what everyone else already has. This still seems to be persisting daily on all phones in the household, all on the current iOS.
Didn’t help me. iPhone 12, iOS 17.2.1. Also, I can’t turn off WiFi 6 on my phone since it’s a little older.
I’m having the same issue with my iPhone 11. Keeps dropping my wifi connection then tells me my password is wrong when I try to reconnect. Any idea of when apple will fix this? So frustrating
I have the same problem now with three devices, 2 updated to iPadOS 17.2 and one to tvOS17.2 the devices are struggling to pick up wifi. Never felt this disappointed with an Apple product.
What if you have 13 Pro max? I don't have the wifi6e mode showing and this problem is driving me crazy
This solution works for me, but sometimes it reverts back to Automatic and I have to go back and turn it off again.
