My power button is stuck down into the remote. How can I get it to pop back out?

The power button on my Apple TV remote is stuck flush with the remote and will not power on the television. How do I get it to come back out to work again?

The power button on the Siri Remote is supposed to be almost level with the rest of the remote. That is as intended.
The power button isn’t needed per se, as Apple TV can be turned to sleep or wake without that button, and other HDMI devices can follow that through HDMI-CEC.

For physical issues with the remote, please contact Apple Support, as this accessory is officially not user-serviceable.
