My wife and I get "Device added you your Account" messages since my daughter got new iPhone...huh?

A couple days ago, my daughter transferred her old iPhone's contents to her new iPhone using QuickStart. She has her own Apple ID as does everyone in the family. Since then, my wife and I have received pop up messages on our phones and Apple devices with several messages-

My wife also has had one saying a new Apple watch has access. Yet, in the settings, I see nothing to indicate there is a new device with access (if I am looking correctly) and she says she is not getting our messages. Any idea why this is happening?

2 possibilities.

  1. Your daughter is using your Apple ID on her devices and has logged in to Messages and Facetime with it., which she should not be doing as each person should have their own Apple ID,
  2. Your own devices refreshed the connection to both Facetime and Messages and will issue that message in that case. This can happen if you recently turned on a old iPhone that has been off for a while. It will reconnect to the services and issue the message.
