Sort Window in Numbers stays Open - annoying

If you are keyboard-oriented, a simple option-command-i will also show or hide the sidebar.

You can find a list of keyboard shortcuts at Help > Keyboard Shortcuts in your menu.

P.S. for Ian: love the graphics! Question: can a Leader survive in the mid-levels of an organization, surrounded by Bosses? When you hide the sidebar, is there a special such creature in the third column?😀

Do you mean the panel on the right?

You can dismiss that panel by clicking on the Organise button:

Ditto if the Format panel is in your way. Click on the Format button.

Hi GrandDad,

Clicking somewhere in the Numbers window other than the pop-up should close the pop-up, as should choosing one of the options in the pop-up, or typing the Esc key. Have you tried any of these things? Or, does the pop-up seem frozen?
