How do I export Journal app entries to html or rtf?
I like to know if there is a way to export entries from the new Apple journal app to some sort of standard compliant format such as html or even rtf.

I intended to use the app but changed my mind when I discovered you can’t print or export entries. Apple please fix this.
Your suggestion is ridiculously complicated when Apple could fix it in a jiffy.

Nothing is difficult for the person who doesn’t have to do it.
It's not as if they don't have the money to pay someone to do it.
I initially thought it was odd but it is simple:
Open the journal entry, click on EDIT, press twice gently on any word, you get the menu to select all and then copy paste is as usual!
This is a ridiculous workaround.
Thank you. Unfortunately, I’ve already entered 2 weeks worth of diary and hate to have to lose it or transfer it by copy and paste.
Wow thanks wizard, except I can’t export them to photos. I would never intentionally use an app that traps data solely on my phone.
I was quite excited to see the new Apple journaling app with its multiple features but won’t be using it because I can’t share it with others or incorporate into my writing activities. Nice try Apple!
Darn! I was excited to see Journal and saw it as a way to make easy notes for my blog. I imagined I could copy entries and then paste to my blog. I’m walking away from Journal until they have added a export or copy ability.
Luckily, I caught this problem after only one journal entry. I was super excited about the app, and then realized I could not export it. However, I was able to cut and paste my one journal entry into a different location.
I began using the newly updated mobile application and wrote a few journals there, but to my surprise, there was no app available when I looked for one to import all of my journals onto my Mac.
I apologize to Apple, but I will no longer be able to use it if I can not import to a Mac.
After writing three entries in the journal app I discovered I cannot export it and I’m using it to compose a feature article I’m writing in journal format about climate change. This makes me wonder if the journal app is a feeble attempt to compete w remarkable tablet insofar as it’s a way to focus and remove one from distractions.
now I wonder do I buy remarkable? Like it’s $600 or more and I already have I pad
maybd Apple , since it’s not really doing so well w sales in China and has no exciting innovation, might make its own writing tablet w pen like remarkable but for reduced price for those who have apple I cloud accounts and devices

I could understand if a startup in the early 20th century launched this app with no exporting capability.
Given that there were no computers at all in the early 20th century, that would have actually be quite remarkable.
I agree with all the folks who are disappointed in the limited ability to export journal entries. I did find a way to "message" a single journal entry text and pictures. The journal entry does provide a way to copy all the text (copy all). This can be pasted into a "note". That note can be messaged to an individual or group. So my process was to include the photos I wanted to send with the "copy" of the text. I found that the text was "center aligned" and off to the left but was easily shifted to the right in the "note" (finger on the text shifts it). I posted this "note" to a group and those with iphones were able to view both the pictures and text.
Now for pictures and videos. It's a bit more complicated. Go to settings. Select Journal, look at the bottom for what it says to do with pictures taken with the phone. move the slider so that all the pictures you take with the phone and have inserted in Journal will also be saved to Photos. Unfortunately, the only way to get photos you took from outside and inserted into Journal is to either have saved the photograph you took, or do a screenshot of the photograph.
