Tried restarted the iPhone, renamed the iPhone. Not working.

Took a minute to figure out. Went into settings then CarPlay, removed ALL VEHICLES LISTED, including ones I haven’t used in awhile. Then it connected to my car just fine. Haven’t had an issue after that.

You haven't read the chat history, it says several times that the network reset only helps for a short time and soon you'll have the same problem again and again, and you can always reset the network settings and restart them, believe me that doesn't help the problem permanently to solve. Your solution is the standard solution that you get from Apple Support first, the second thing is to completely reset the iPhone and reinstall it from iCloud, which doesn't help either. Apple is the biggest company in the world and keeps dragging a problem from one iOs to the next, as Steve Jobs said, don't worry about problems, invent something new and customers will forget the old one, which of course isn't true

Hello, I am extremely annoyed with APPLE, the new iOS 17.3 has no remedy for the problem with Apple Carplay, it was simply ignored by Apple, I had to switch off Apple Car Play again on my BMW X5 50e (Year 12/2023) - Deactivate.

The following errors are still present: after receiving an iMessage, Siri speaks, it is played back, but when you try to answer it via Siri, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is disconnected from the vehicle, then reconnected after a few seconds, but the music performance is then Reduced by more than half (50%), you deactivate Apple Carplay only then the muscle performance returns to normal directly via the car software.

The typical Apple support standard ideas and attempts like, resetting the vehicle entertainment software, rest of the network and BT settings or the best of all support ideas, completely resetting the iPhone with completely reinstalling all data, pictures, music, bank app etc. which of course is none Makes sense or the problem is fixed.

It's finally time to not just focus on new functions with every iOS update, but to finally tackle the whole problem.

After years of CarPlay working well on my BMW, about a month ago it stopped working when my iPhone did a software update. After trying many of the suggestions on this thread, none of which worked, I gave up. That was about three weeks ago. Yesterday, I decided to give it another try, and lo and behold, CarPlay connected and worked in my car. There were no iPhone or BMW software updates since my last attempt use CarPlay.

I can't offer any explanation for this change other than possibly something else that's going on in the ios software that isn't CarPlay specific....or at least visible to the end user.

Hopefully Apple will figure this out so the problem is eliminated.
