iPhone not working after 17.2.1 update
After updating my iPhone last night to 17.2.1 I can no longer connect to my network provider. Tried the resets and still it does not work!
very frustrating.

Solved my problem after 8 hours of troubleshooting! After the 17.2.1 update, my iPhone 14 Pro Max would not send or receive calls and got hot from accelerated battery drain. First AppleCare walked me through hardware diagnostics, network resets, backups and restores but the problem persisted. Next, Verizon helped me with a new eSIM, but the problem continued. Next, I focused on my company's corporate software, because I was intrigued by the VPN discussion in this forum. While I don't use a VPN, my iPhone is managed by my company's installation of Microsoft InTune, which I noticed (Settings:General:VPN & Device Mgmt) had a signing certificate (IOSProfileSigning.manage.microsoft.us) that had expired December 12, 2023. To test this theory, I removed this Management software and my phone's cellular calls worked perfectly again! So for the final steps, I worked with my company's IT department to reinstall the Management software, which has an updated IOS signing certificate, and the phone is now back to normal. Sharing in case others find my painful tech journey useful.
Apple servers are working, according to Apple - Support - System Status. And have been working for at least 24 hours, because the Status screen shows outages that have been resolved for 24 hours.
Siri doesn’t work anymore. Tried everything on YouTube etc
No they will blame it on your phone. Due to the update finding bad internal issue in the phone.
From what I've read , there's another update coming soon , maybe sometime next month, 17.3 hope this fixes the issue's with my iPhone 12 Pro. I tried to downgrade to 17.2 but know luck.
My iPad is doing the same
Same here bro
So the real question is, is there a reason for us to sit and complain here? Would Apple really fix this or they just watch us complain? I’m new to this. I’ve had this issue for 11 days now.
I was getting good battery life on my 14 plus but after the update, am facing drastic change in my battery back up and it is draining very fast.
How did you solve personal hotspot issue?
I can't back up my iPhone 13 pro max to my Apple Computer after updating to iOS version 17.2.1. It keeps getting stuck in "Syncing (Step 3 - 4) - Preparing to sync."
Ohhh. Thank god i haven’t updated my iPhone 15 yet. Its still on 17.2
Apple’s software testing team must be full of fake testers. They even just cant test basic features.
wish I would noticed and read this couple of days ago..would have saved a few days of stress and time wasted with Apple support..
me too and they are telling like its is a hardware issue and i need to pay 1700aed to repair that
