Where can I store my apple pencil with magic keyboard

Just bought the magic keyboard for my Ipad Air and realised now that there is no holder for my pencil.

How silly is that for a design. It’s not like it’s a cheap cover. It’s very heavy and expensive.

Apple design is really going downhill. What can I do?

Apple Pencil Gen2 Where should I keep the apple pencil ? I'm not using the pencil regularly due to some reasons and for a while I'll be using it minimum so I'm afraid that keeping it attached to my ipad always will overchage it and hence damage the pencil.... It would be really helpful if someone guides me on this. Thankyou.
