Is this normal for airpod pros

I bought these airpod pros newly off someone and i’ve received them but first of all the case is open abit and the sound quality is so crunchy, the charging is not stable, when charging it says only 1 airpod is charging at the time they are both in, it says they have applecare on them but i dont know if these are real or not.

AirPod 2nd gen - is this normal? My right AirPod does not charge in the case when the case is not plugged directly into a cable. This has been happening for about 6 months but took me a while to figure out what was going on. They are used a few times a week for about 30 min to an hour at a time. I took them to them in to an affiliate shop and they sent them to Apple because still under warranty and Apple returned them and said there was nothing wrong. Below is from this morning. Everything was at 100% last night, but the right one is almost dead while the case is at 100%. Just trying to see if everyone thinks this is normal or if I should try with Apple again? Warranty expires in a few days.

one airpod not charging intermittently I bought new airpods in July. Lost one in on Jan. 3, replaced it at Apple Store late Jan. Now, one airpod intermittenly will not charge. Mostly the left one, sometimes the right one. Sometimes both will be charged fine, and other times one will be dead or at 2%. The case is always 80% or higher. The airpods are clean, the stems are clean, the case is clean, including where the charging contacts are. Thoughts?

Dear Apple Suppot team, Kindly note that I have purchased an AirPod pro and starting using it by end of January, I happen to have my left earpiece out of battery and few days later I noticed it’s not charging, after couple of attempts using your online guidelines for different ways, my case was completely not synchronized. I reached to local authorized vendor but started they cannot help me since my warranty has expired. I have my AirPod and case looking in very good condition and there was no misuse at all and yet my AirPod pro doesn’t work. This is a product defect indeed and I should struggle to have a solution. Please assist and advise

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store and have them checked.

It certainly sounds like they may be damaged or failing at best. It’s entirely possible they are counterfeit.

I had the same thing, it’s not real

but about the Apple care , what they do is copy a serial number and it will take you to a page on Apple that as if confirms your AirPods
