iPhone XS Charging Issue
I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding a persistent issue with my iPhone XS, and I trust that your expertise will help me resolve this matter.
When connected to a charger, my iPhone initially starts charging as expected. However, after the screen dims and the phone goes into auto-lock mode, it unexpectedly shuts down within one minute. Despite my attempts to power it on using the usual method, the phone remains unresponsive.
I have tried unplugging and re-plugging the charger, but unfortunately, this has no effect. It's worth noting that under normal circumstances, when connected to a charger, an iPhone would power on, but this is not the case with my iPhone XS.
Interestingly, I have discovered that if I unplug the charger for approximately 5 seconds, the phone auto-turns on without requiring me to press the power button. Additionally, if I keep the phone screen on while connected to the charger, it charges normally without any issues. The battery appears to function correctly, and the phone does not auto-off while in use.
For your reference, here are the details of my iPhone:
- iOS Version: 17.2
- Model: iPhone XS
- Model Number: MT9J2TA/A
- Serial Number: F1***G5
Despite this workaround of keeping the auto-lock disabled and brightness set to zero, I understand that this is not a sustainable solution. I am reaching out to you in the hope that you can provide guidance on troubleshooting or offer a solution to this perplexing issue.
Your prompt attention to this matter is highly appreciated, as I rely on my iPhone for various aspects of my daily life. Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to your guidance on resolving this matter
