Can someone from Apple fix this bloody issue? It is very annoying and no it does not stick on iPhone either. Someone seriously needs to get fired there. Getting sloppy Apple, Not the standards we are used to.
No it doesn’t make any sense. I live in an area that gets severe storms regularly and the precipitation map shows me exactly where the storm is. I should be able to choose what layer the map stays on instead of Apple telling me what they think I should be looking at. This used to work just fine, now like half of everything else (like the touchscreen on my Apple Watch since WatchOS 11 not working properly) it’s completely broken. Apple needs to up their game.
I’d like to make a correction to the prior statement. It won’t hold on the Mac, but seems to be holding on the iPhone. Sorry for the confusion.
@Nik Hill ("Looks like that Map is dynamic and will default to whatever is more likely. If you set up a city which currently has or expecting precipitation, you get the rain map...) is right IMO
Exactly. I live in an area that gets no rain and I’d rather see the heat map. I used to be able to scroll through the maps and see each one, but now it’s precipitation only. Pretty worthless!
Apple seems to be putting out only what it wants and making people put up with it, hey, isn’t that communism???😯(or propaganda at the very least.)
I miss Dark Sky. Apple pulled the move that all big companies do, but the small company with a better product.
