why did my weather app default to wind map

my weather map used to default to precipitation , now it defaults to wind. how do I change it back?

iPhone 14, iOS 17

Weather App Map Defaults to Wind Starting yesterday default map on the weather app defaults to wind. I want precipitation. Change the map to precipitation and next time I open that location goes back to wind. This is true on all devices for all locations I have stored except one that is under storm warning. If I delete a location then add it back in, still defaults to wind.

Apple Weather app - change default How can you set the Weather app to show precipitation as its main graph. It is still nowhere nearly as clear as Dark Sky was, but as that’s been killed off, there must be some way to improve on the Weather app default?

My iPhone 11 started defaulting to the wind map, too. I can change to precipitation but it won’t stick between closing and next opening.

I switched my map app from wind to precipitation and it switches back on its own. Every time!!! Fix it!

I miss Dark Sky. Apple pulled the move that all big companies do, but the small company with a better product.
