Will my Apple Pencil 2 be okay if I leave it disconnected for a couple of days?

I went on a family trip during the holidays with my family and I brought my IPad Pro with my, i thought I had also brought my Apple Pencil with me but it seems I forgot it in my house, so my question, will the battery die and have permanent damages if I leave it disconnected for a couple of days?

what if my pencil pro kept attached on ipad for long time without use I use pencil once in a while and it’s kept attached to the iPad …will it harm iPad or pencil any way?
