What an oversight! I was so excited until I saw that it was iPhone only. iPads can have pencils and keyboards, which is so much better. I don’t want to write with my thumbs on a little screen!
Tell Apple:
So my post was removed.. I guess Apple found what I said offensive or not constructive? So stating the obvious that the journal app should be on the iPad is not constructive?, yes your absolutely right its not because common sense says it should have been on the iPad to begin. As I've stated before- I'll say it again;
Hopefully Apple sees this…..why in the world would you not put the journal app on iPad….it has a pencil for writing aka journaling. Do they even do consumer testing with average ppl? I swear the logic makes no sense with the way they conceptualize things. For the sanctity of IPhone bring back fingerprint id. And GIVE ME JOURNAL APP FOR iPad so I can stop using notes and have a native app for journaling & oh yeah where’s the calculator app for iPad I’m sick of the 3rd party ones with adds while I’m trying to study

While Apple has not released a native Calculator App is not available for iPad, there are many free and paid third-party alternatives.
One of the very best calculators in the App Store - arguably superior to the Apple Calculator, completely free and without advertisements - is Sci:Pro Calculator:

Yes I am aware as some informed me this the first time I posted this which was months ago, but I beg to differ since Apple removed the original post stating it wasn't constructive they would have had to read it to determine it as such.

The Hosts, who moderate this forum and are Apple employees, are the people who removed your post. They would have removed your post because someone reported it. At that point, they would have read your post solely to determine if it violated the terms of use. They do not, however, read here for feedback or suggestions to pass on to Apple engineers and developers.
So, if you would rather post here telling me I'm wrong about where to submit feedback instead of submitting it where Apple has explicitly said they will read it, well, it's your time to waste.
I told Apple. The Feedback form provides no ...feedback. There's no tally of how many others want the same changes. There's no discussion. People will keep coming to the community to voice their questions and concerns. It's human, and Apple would be dumb not to check this form of feedback as well.
I won't presume to speak for all seniors. I will say that I, and easily half the seniors I know, find a larger screen much easier to see. And for those of us with arthritis, much easier to use than a phone as well.

The Feedback page is not designed to provide Feedback to you. It is only designed to let you give feedback to Appel. And it explicitly states you won't get a response.
You can think what you like about how Apple does things but Apple has a long and storied history of completely ignoring such judgments.
Yes, I noticed that on the form, thanks. I'm explaining to you why people will continue to come here and complain.
It would be difficult —not impossible, but difficult— to be more familiar with how Apple does business than someone whose Apple-only career began with the Lisa. I don't expect them to make big changes in accordance with my suggestions, and they don't expect me to stop making them.

Why are you explaining it to me? I didn't ask why people post here. What matters is that lots of people seem unaware of the fact that Apple doesn't read here for suggestions. And that is why I point them in the direction of the feedback page. In very many cases, it's the only possible help folks can get here in this user-to-use forum.
And if I were inclined to oneupmanship, I'd note that I've been using Apple products since the II+.

I want to update my iPad to iOS 17
Whether or not you are able to update your iPad to a newer version of iOS/iPadOS will be dictated by the iPad model - and the currently installed version of iOS. You can find this information here:
Settings > General > About
Not sure which iPad you have? Identify your iPad model.
Here is a list of the highest version of iOS supported by the older models of iPad (for simplicity - “generations” are shortened to a number) that are restricted in their ability to be updated:
32-bit devices (obsolete)
iPad1 - iOS 5.1.1
iPad2, iPad3 and iPad mini1 - iOS 9.3.5 (WiFi Only models), iOS 9.3.6 (WiFi & Cellular)
iPad4 - iOS 10.3.3 (WiFi Only), iOS 10.3.4 (WiFi & Cellular)
64-bit devices
iPad Air1*, iPad mini2 and iPad mini3* - iOS 12.5.7
iPad Air2, iPad mini4 - iPadOS 15.8.2
iPad5, iPad Pro (9.7"/12.9" first generation) - iPadOS 16.7.8
(*) obsolete
Newer models are all able to be updated to the current version - iPadOS 17.5
If your iPad is capable of update to a more recent version of iOS/iPadOS than is currently installed, these support pages outline both the available methods by which the update can be performed - and troubleshooting should you experience difficulties:
Update your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support
If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won’t update - Apple Support
iOS update and restore errors – Apple Support
Be aware that while an iPad may be capable of update, in some circumstances you may need to use a computer to perform the update*. To do so, you will need access to either a Windows PC (with iTunes for Windows installed - or the more recent Apple Devices App) or a Mac (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of MacOS). Ensure that your installed version of iTunes has been updated to the most recent version; the essential device drivers are included.
Download and use iTunes for Windows – Apple Support
Update to the latest version of iTunes – Apple Support
Update software on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch in iTunes on PC - Apple Support
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with the Finder - Apple Support
Apple Devices App (Windows PC):

(*) If you don’t have access to a suitable computer of your own, that of a helpful friend or family member will suffice. Alternatively, the technicians at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) will be delighted to assist.
Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
If you have a beta profile installed, ensure this has been removed from your iPad - as, otherwise, installation of production software updates may be inhibited. This support page provides the necessary information to remove the beta from your iPad:
How to uninstall iOS beta software - Apple Support
You should note that for your iPad to install an available update, its battery must be charged to at least 50% capacity - and/or be connected to its Power Adapter. Similarly, the iPad can only be updated over a standard WiFi connection - or be updated by a PC or Mac using iTunes or Finder - over a USB connection.
What a great app.. thank you!
So backwards. I will never use Journal on my iPhone. I’ve been DYING for them to come out with a Journal App; I could use it with my Apple Pencil? Makes perfect sense. Smh
Yeah this makes no sense. Why would it only be on the phone? Surely you can fix this!
Since Journal is not available on iPad what is a good alternative?
The app could and should be available on all devices.
