Touch ID with older iMac

I have an iMac 21. The software is up to date. I bought a new keyboard hoping I could use the touch ID but I can't find it in Systems. Please help!

Only the latest Silicon Mac's support Touch ID.

check "System Requirements" for the Keyboard that you purchased.
