stolen phone
my phone got stolen. I locked it via find my iPhone. is it possible for them to unlock it ? or they need to do a factory reset ?
also I did erase my phone but it is still pending when will it be complete ?

It is not possible for them to erase it, as the iPhone is protected by activation lock. If the thief is not in possession of your Apple ID credentials, the iPhone is useless to them.
