Permanently deleted emails from AOL on my iPhone
I can’t figure out how to retrieve my permanently deleted emails from my iPhone. Every place I look for advice leads me down a dark hole

We'll try to save you some time and frustration looking for things that probably no longer exist.
If you permanently deleted AOL emails on your phone, they are also permanently deleted on AOL's servers.
The emails are permanently gone.....unless.....you also had Mail / AOL installed on your Mac.....AND.....you were using Time Machine to back up the Mac to another hard drive. Even then, things are really "iffy".
