iPod nano 7th generation Bluetooth not working.

I've tried all different fixes that I read online like turning devices off then on, holding button down on Bluetooth earphones until connected, looking for new downloads, making sure all other Bluetooth devices nearby are off, and I all get is the continued spinning wheel on the nano with no devices found. Any thoughts? Can this be fixed? I've been using the music app on my phone, but you can't shuffle all your playlists/albums together, only one at a time. On the nano you can shuffle everything together, so I want to fix the Bluetooth issue. Thanks

I figured out the issue. There was one Bluetooth device I didn't turn off, which was not close by. The earphones were being discovered by that item instead of the iPod, which was only an inch away. All is good, and hopefully, I don't have to go through this process every time I want to use my old iPod.
