Hi, when I share a photo via message I have noticed I’m sharing more than I want to.
At the bottom of the photo it shows nearby photos from the same album. All in a little line. How do I stop this?

It sounds like you're sending a screenshot taken of the phone's screen instead of sending the original image. When you view an image, it first shows the pictures near it so you can scroll to the one you want.
When I want to send an image on a message, I poke the "Share" icon on top (or bottom if you hold the phone the other way):
Then a dialog comes up asking how I want to share it, and I choose message. Then only the actual image gets sent.
How were you sending the picture? I'm not sure how you send a screenshot like that...

On my iPhone 11, IOS 17.1.2
I am using the share icon. It's very odd. And potentially embarrassing . In my private photos (for example) I keep online dating pictures so the last thing I want is for others to show!

Figured it out, I am doing screenshots from videos. No how do I get rid of them? I’ve tried editing them out and they remain.
Gosh, Becky, I haven't seen this at all! Does the little stream of (perhaps embarrassing) pictures look like the ones at the bottom in my earlier screenshot? Does the next screen look like this?
Or how is it different?
