Hello! I just got this macbook pro 2023 and I noticed some speaker discoloration in certain lighting. Is this normal in terms of this computers manufacturing.

The panel is made of Aluminum, the finish is a dark black anodization process applied ONLY to the surface, not deep into the holes. To my eye, the 'discoloration' you note is that the aluminum body shows itself in the holes.
These sorts of issues can't be fixed by changing settings. if you remain concerned, make a Genius Bar appointment and have it inspected.
If you bought DIRECT from Apple, not from a Reseller, you have 14 days from receipt for a full-value refund or exchange.

it would appear the angle of the second photo you are actually looking into the grid..
seems normal.
