I was browsing my iCloud info on my iPhone 14. In Payment and Shipping, credit card info is correct, but red letter alert warning states Security Code is invalid. It is not. And expiration date is 2026 so within parameters. Seems to work, although have not used to purchase in a few weeks. Sometimes, even says "Expired" . Wallet and Apple pay info is correct. What is happening?
UPDATE: Just wanted to post on issue. I had to add another card, delete existing (although valid) card, re-add my original card, and then delete the second card. Now seems to be reflecting card correctly and not showing error messages. Weird, but worked. However, some people do not have a second card to use so not sure what they can do if having same issue. Apple needs to figure out why happened in first place.
There may be something amiss with the payment method information that you have associated with your Apple ID.
Take a look at the following support article to see if you can make any corrections.
You can also try removing this payment method, and then, re-add it back.
Tesserax ~ thanks for response and info. I did go to my Apple iTunes account and noticed no payment information was listed so added existing credit card. When I checked back in iCloud, still showing error information. Will check a bit later to see if updates.
