Apple TV app on Roku express suddenly won’t load.

All software is up to date. Including Roku. Reinstalled Apple TV app, restarted modem, Roku. All other apps working and also my iPhone Apple TV app. This happened overnight! After I deleted and restarted Apple TV app, opens with sign in or sign up selection. I click on sign in, next screen is the icon just spinning.

Apple TV app not working on Roku The Apple TV app on my Roku TV is non-functional. Initially, selecting purchased media to play resulted in a playback error. I restarted the app and restarted the Roku to attempt to fix this to no avail. I then tried to log out and log back, but after logging out, the Apple TV app shows only a grey screen with the loading wheel every time I open it. Even deleting and reinstalling the app does not fix the issue. When I am prompted to sign in, infinite grey loading screen. Any help is appreciated.

For Roku:

Another user (mygreensocks) suggested this procedure from Roku Support staff, which reportedly helped several users.

1. Remove the Apple TV app,

2. Shut off and unplug the streaming device (or Roku TV),

3. Wait 30 seconds,

4. Plug the streaming device (or Roku TV)) back in,

5. Reload the Apple TV app.

Else try the Network Connection Reset, as mentioned by user Jarieta.

If the issue persists after that, then please contact the Apple Support staff for further assistance.
