IWatch reacts to my iPhone being too close

At night, I sleep with my iwatch to get Sleep Statistics. I also put my iPhone on my upper arm to read an ebook.

if my iPhone gets too close to my iwatch they start to vibrate (and usually wake me up) an the I watch has a grafic picture of 2 iphones become head to head .

no idea what this is about- I bought the iPhone to get some sleep data , but I’ve always read a book propped on my arm for me to be able to read and fall asleep.

so why does the iPhone do this? At first I thought it wanted me to touch them both together but that did nothing.

so why do they start to vibrate when I’m dead asleep and then they wake me up almost jumping out of bed???

i have an iPhone 11 and an Apple Watch series 9.

please help! IT KEEPS WAKING ME UP AND DISTURBING MY SLEEP. Thanks

Apple Watch Series 9, watchOS 10

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.
