I'm in New Zealand.
Seems to be a location issue i tried switching on a vpn to usa ip and it works tried AU and NZ IPs and no go.
I talked to someone from apple support first person said there was no known issue.
They then put me onto a phone call with someone else and he is looking into it.

Monday now and still won’t play! I’ve tried on 2 appletv devices (with 2 different accounts), an iPad, a iphone and a Samsung tv via appletv+ app (and a 3rd account). So frustrating!!!
Looks like it has just been fixed. At least for me.
Now working on apple tv app on both macbook pro and Sony TV.
I have the day off work so will try to watch it all.
Same here! Started to watch yesterday night, continued 30min this morning 6am (Switzerland), wanted to continue now, and only available for purchase. Hence NOT working in Switzerland.

Same issue here, Christchurch New Zealand. Clearly advertised as being available, pay the money, can’t watch.
Tried on phone and Apple TVs, …“can’t be played as you don’t have access to it or it’s no longer available”.
Grrrrrr.
48hrs and it’s still unplayable. I have watched trailers for other Apple TV+ shows so many times now.
one of the biggest releases on the platform and two countries can’t even access it. Unheard of on Prime, Disney or Netflix
Hoping Napoleon doesn’t encounter the same issue.
Tech support check the community page and fix this glaring error
I have been talking to apple about this on live chat and a couple of phone calls.
Hopefully they are looking into it. I think the more people who complain with the same problem maybe they will sort it out quicker.
But i was hoping this would have been fixed by now.
In Park City Utah, the movie will not play on the Firestick/Apple TV App. “Video Not Available”. Tried the Apple TV app where it played normally. Went back to the LG TV and tried the LG App where it played fine.
What’s wrong with Apple TV ??

Same here, went to play the movie and it just won’t play, I’m in New Zealand, annoying. Was keen to watch it, glad I didn’t decide to pay to rent it when I first saw it, I’d be ******!
Same here, in Auckland. This is genuinely useless. I paid for appletv just to watch this movie. Unhappy.

Same it plays a preview for another movie then when it’s about to start the movie it black screens itself
