iPhone 15 Dynamic Island Symbols

iPhone 15 Dynamic Island Symbols. I can’t seem to find a list of the symbols and icons that appear in Dynamic Island.

I only ask as one appeared today or at least was first time I saw it appear.

on the left hand side of island was a white square or square shape with rounded corners I think.

on the right side of island at same time there was a red symbol or lines or shape.

I have no idea what it was indicating. I can’t remember exactly what I had been doing on my iPhone but it was nothing unusual or a new app being used. I had actually just closed down a few apps so that nothing was running.

does anyone have an idea of this meaning?

I have mocked up a representation in the image attached as far as I can remember it.

the red side was not a square. I’m pretty sure it was lines very close to each other getting shorter at one end.

Note squares rather than dots appear if the "Differentiate Without Color setting is turned on in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size."

I got the symbol on the right side of island wrong. It just appeared again after I did a restart of my iPhone.

it was more like a red half semi circle with a number inside but it looked faded to one side.

and the white box on the left side did a little spin around its central axis.

Do you guys think it could be a battery level warning for my AirPods Pro case? Now I think of it the icon on the left side could look like the lozenge shape of the case and it’s white. And the icon on the right is in red being an incomplete circle with a number in it. The battery level in red warning in digits inside the semi circle rim?

ill have to pay more attention when my case is low on juice next and see if it happens.

it seems the icons in the Dynamic Island can be set and used by third party apps. I was using YouTube which I have on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and on my Sony Bravia TV. I got a message in YouTube on my iPhone about linking to my YouTube on my TV which I did. And when watching a video selected from my iPhone but being played on my TV there was a funny little icon in the island which almost looked a collage of tiny movie posters or thumb nails.

unless I’m going crazy and imagined it all. Which is entirely possible. Haha.
