Xcode cache

I came across the problem of taking up a lot of system data memory in my Mac. When I entered the library, I saw that the Developer folder takes up a lot of space. How to safely clean the Xcode cache in the library.

Not enough storage to download Xcode I wanted to download Xcode on my MacBook Pro but no matter how much I delete, I don't have enough storage for the app. My MacBook has 120gb, less than 30gb of that includes all my files, applications, pictures etc, 12gb is under "Other" and a huge 50gb is under "System Data". I have around 28gb left on my device. What are some solutions that I could try out? Thank you!

What is the “com.apple.MobileSMS” in my library caches folder? Is it safe to delete? I noticed that in my library cache folder, there is a folder called “com.apple.MobileSMS”. It is taking up over 7GB. What is it? Is it safe to delete? My messages folder is 7.5GB. Are my messages taking up space on my computer in two locations??

Like any cache, you can just delete it. But then the app that uses it will, at a minimum, need to rebuild it. In a worst case, the app won't function properly afterwards.

Xcode just requires tons of RAM and tons of storage.

Why do you think it is a cache, and not just XCode which is a big program.
