iPhone 15 pro max issues with 17.2.1 update

I updated my phone yesterday to 17.2.1 yesterday and since then my phone is not usable. If I try to make calls, it does not call the person immediately and instead start call after 20-30 seconds. Also, my WhatsApp is not able to read contacts nor make calls. Everything was working just fine before the updates.

To try resolving, I did a reset of my phone (all settings)

I reinstalled whatsapp, but nothing seems to work. Please help

My issue got fixed. Basically with iOS 17, if there are a lot of contacts, it takes a lot of time to index them affecting calls amd whatsapp. I had 15k+ contacts and a lot of them were duplicate. I switched off icloud contacts sync and deleted the contacts from phone. The on web, I went to icloud contacts, removed duplicates and then on phone turned on the sync. You should not have more than 5k contacts
