Since update 17.2.1 the FaceID will not work. I have tried to reset it but now it won’t even allow me to start setting up. The camera just sits on the “Fit your face into the frame” screen

Follow the guidance in this support article→If Face ID is disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support. This is frequently a hardware problem; there is a link in the article to contact Apple support if the listed troubleshooting doesn’t solve the problem.
It does work but only for about 2 mins and then it stops working again so your constantly punching your phone!

Mine still isnt working so I have had to turn Face ID off. Apple have run a diagnostic check on my phone and they say everything is working fine
Thank you. I’ve already taken all those steps. It appears to be a bug. Hopefully, Apple admits to it and corrects it in the next round.

Mine has stopped working also, I’ve reset it twice and still no luck.
Does Apple look at these forums for issues? Would like to avoid needing to go to an Apple Store
