Missing keyboard keys

I recently started using an old MacBook Pro because of the bigger screen but the keyboard keys asdf are not working. The r key is also not functioning and I need them to put in my pass word. I thought I could take the w key and put in place of the a but it still doesn’t work. I don’t know what I should do but I need to have access to my keyboard.
