Slideshow without iDVD

I used iDVD for years to convert old slides to DVD. My new iMac (Ventura 13.6.3) no longer has iDVD. What is the best way to make a slideshow with plans to burn to a DVD?

Burning a Slide Show DVD using iMovie 10.3.5 to Toast Titanium 20 version 20.3 How do I burn a slide show DVD from iMovie 10.3.5 to Toast Titanium 20 version 20.3, I have never done this before, I have compiled the slide show in iMovie but am stuck trying to transfer to Toast to burn the DVD My iMac is using Sonoma 14.3.1 I would really welcome some assistance Blackrock Guy

Isn't Roxio Toads around $70 where as those I mentioned are from $15 to $25 on the App Store?.

Yes, Roxio is quite costly. Is it worth it over the other choices that are less expensive?
