Linking documents to documents

Neither Pages, Numbers, or Keynote provide links to other documents. This functionality has not existed since Oct 2013 when Apple released these rewritten applications. This is a feature of MS Office or LibreOffice.

These are public, fellow user supported communities and the Apple product teams do not read nor participate here. Thus, we cannot possibly know the internal Apple product team product decisions in order to answer those type of questions.

There are other word processing applications that may allow linking to documents such as the free LIbreOffice Suite to name one.
