Missing plug-ins FCP

I transferred data from and old mac to a new one and when I opened FCP, there were lots of clips that said "missing plug-ins." Some of the clips don't even have plug-ins. I tried re-linking, nothing; I tried to re-import the file, nothing. I went to my plug-ins and none of them are missing. I need help. I worry it has something to do with this new version of fcp on this new mac, and this new operating system, but the truth is, I have no idea.

Plug-ins and templates are not the same thing. Templates are effects, titles, transitions and generators.

Plug-ins may be necessary to play some types of media.

Where does your media come from? Does it play in Quicktime Player?

Open one of your media files in Quicktime Player, press Command-I and post a screenshot.
