Yes, exactly the same issue. I have an iPhone 13 mini, upgrade IOS to ver 17.3 and have had Exchange password issue since then. Works fine on my laptop. I get the message 'Password Incorrect', Enter the password for the Exchange account 'Exchange'. This appears 2/3 times after I cancel. Tried switching off phone and on again this morning and it was ok for a while but has now reappeared. Entering the correct password doesn't resolve,

I have had the same issue since 17.3 but I think that it's just coincidence since others report it also on platforms other than iOS. I created a new account under Mail using Outlook.com and deleted the Exchange one. It works fine now. Outlook.com is EAS apparently so should be equal to exchange with benefit of MS authentication integration.

The same troubleshooting tips that was given to the OP applies to you too.

Report the issue to Microsoft support, or look at their help site or talk to your IT admin if this is a work account.

When you have activated 2-step verification for your Microsoft Exchange/Outlook account, it introduces an additional layer of security, preventing the use of your regular login password when accessing your account through a web browser. In such cases, you are required to generate a unique and device-specific application password for use on iOS devices.

To accomplish this, navigate to the provided link, which facilitates the creation of an iOS app-specific password. This distinct password ensures a secure and seamless connection between your iOS device and your Microsoft Exchange/Outlook account, allowing you to navigate the heightened security measures while maintaining the convenience of accessing your email and other services on your iOS device. --> Manage app passwords for two-step verification

The error says its connection with server error.

But in iOS 17.2 this error didn't existed, it appeared after iOS update to 17.3

It could be Microsoft error, but most likely Apple changed something about the settings that peopple on 17.2 still have access and 17.3 doesn't

Also whatsapp ilost all contacts for me... so big trouble for my work here.

Never updating again for a long time...
