For no apparent reason, the "Desktop - MacBook Pro" folder appeared on the desktop of my Mac Mini. It is convenient but I don't know how this happened. However, is there a way to make the "Desktop - Mini" folder appear on the MacBook Pro's screen? I would love to make this happen but not knowing how this happened makes it impossible for me to do. Any suggestions?

It appears it is related to your iCloud...
if iCloud Drive got turned on, I would look there for some insight.
Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive
iCloud Drive is turned on on both computers as is the "Desktops & Documents Folders" option. Yet the MacBook Pro Desktop folder shows up on the Mac Mini desktop but the Mac Mini desktop folder does not show up on the MacBook Pro desktop. That is the conundrum. Why is it one one and not on the other?
